Now it's time to choose the perfect marriage celebrant! I'm Melissa Soncini, a friendly, dedicated and experienced wedding celebrant based in Surry Hills, Sydney. I enjoy getting to know couples and hearing the unique story of how they met and fell in love. I especially enjoy working with creative and deeply loved-up couples who want their wedding ceremony to be just as epic as their love.

My beliefs

I believe in love. I firmly believe that marrying your best friend is the most important part of your wedding day, marking one of life's most significant moments. It's a privilege to be part of such an important occasion.

I believe your wedding should show-off your love truthfully and this should be reflected with ceremonial words that really matter.

I specialise in marriage ceremonies that embrace different nationalities and faiths, ensuring each ceremony meets Australian legal requirements, while preserving its cultural and ritual significance. If we could recommend one thing to couples getting married, it would be to book Melissa as their celebrant. Melissa manages to perfectly balance warmth and genuine care, with utter professionalism and preparedness. At every turn she was thorough and organised in a way that took out the guess work for us – right up to preparing us vow booklets! We didn’t have to worry about any paperwork, Melissa did it all and made herself available to promptly answer any questions that cropped up. We got so many compliments about how Melissa carried out our ceremony, which was just beautiful in every way. Melissa listened to us and really accommodated special tweaks and changes that were important to us. Melissa was the first vendor we locked in and was the one we felt the most sure about throughout all our whole wedding planning, so we’re delighted to say that she delivered and even exceeded our expectations.
